A Rainy Day in the Bronx

We had looked forward to this day all summer. . . a day at Yankee Stadium. . . T-man's first game. . .stadium dogs, the "Jeter Meter", and the giant bat! Well, it was all we had hoped for, plus a few things we didn't. Thanks to the remnants of hurrican Earnesto, we sat bundled up, huddled under an umbrella while we were pelted with blowing rain. T-man loved it though! He made friends with all the other crazy fans around us and he clapped and danced with the music. I guess we are teaching him early what a diehard fan does. It would be nice to say that is was all worth it because the Yankees won, but, sadly, they didn't. But, it was still worth it :)
