Snow & Chocolate

This past month my husband and I have had a whirlwind of activity, but it has all been enjoyable (at least for me :) One of the things I remember about living in Clarks Summit during college was all the snow--an insane amount of snow. We thought we were getting away with a mild winter untill February! We have been dumped on and it just keeps coming! Don't worry though, it hasn't slowed down the Starbucks construction.

Another thing I remember and enjoy about living in Clarks Summit is all the community activities. We got to attend the annual Ice Festival in Clarks Summit. There were over 50 ice sculptures, live carvings, and lots of free food! We got to share that experience with one of our favorite families from Indiana :)

The Ice Festival was fun, but the Chocoholic Frolic was more fun! My sweet hubby sent me to a library fundraiser that involved eating all the chocolate you could. Believe me, I did my part for the library! By the end of the night, my legs were shaky and I had a serious chocolate buzz!

All in all, we are doing well and we look forward to a thaw.

April, why wasn't I invited for the Chocoholic Frolic? Or maybe we can just have our own and stop when WE say to stop. Hmmm.....
