Life as an Intern
Ahh. . . the life of an intern. Well, it's kinda what you would expect :) Erik is getting to do the things that no one else wants to do. These things aren't things he necessarily feels gifted at or feels passionate about, but they are the things that need to get done. He gets to attend lots of meeting in which he has no vote and in which he is given more things to do. Ha!
But the upside is both Erik and I are happy to be here. This is where God put us, and we realize that this year is not about us. It is about being a blessing and encouragment to the church and helping them in any way we can.
We are getting to know our new church family, and they have been very kind to us. After Erik's first day in the office, he came home with a car full of grocies that the church had given to us. That was such a blessing and made us feel so welcome.
