Intern Hazing
Every year our internship church particpates in a huge 4th of July parade. This year the church's theme was celebrating its 200th anniversay. The church decided to dress people up in clothes from 1808, 1908, and 2008 to show the church through the ages. Guess what? We got recruited to be 1808 "poor farmers". We were given costumes to wear and we walked by a horse drawn wagon. Titus got to ride in the wagon and he loved it. As we were getting ready the morning of the parade, Erik mentioned that it felt like intern hazing. But, as soon as we got to the parade, we noticed the senior pastor was wearing knickers. Erik suddendly was grateful for his farmer costume!
